Beykoz is a district of Istanbul, in the Asian part of the city, famous for the manufacture of glass.
The city is has dedicated a museum to this ancient tradition, opened in 2021, where valuable glass works are exhibited, which trace the history of the Ottoman Empire and the new republic. Much of the exhibits come from the beautiful Dolmabahçe palace in Istanbul.
